HQ Admin Console
Role management overhauled
The HQ user table now gives admins full control over role assignment — toggle any role on or off per user, with upsert creating the profile row on first click if none exists.
RolesCell — four toggle buttons
Each user row in HQ now has four independent toggle buttons: SDR, AE, Sales Leader, Admin. Clicking creates the profile row on first use via upsert. No more manual SQL to assign roles. Admins can now manage the full four-role matrix from the UI.
Role switcher dropdown — kevin.kunz
Profile row inserted via SQL, all four roles assigned, current_role set to admin. Role switcher dropdown rendering correctly in the UI. The foundation for all future multi-role testing and demo sessions.
Linear Issues filter controls
HQ Linear Issues section now has Status, Priority, Submitter, and Sort filter controls. Makes the feedback queue actionable for the team — no more scrolling through every issue to find what's relevant.
SDR Health ring resize
strokeWidth upgraded from 5→8, SVG viewport from 80→96, center cx/cy adjusted to 48, radii tuned to 36/26/16. The rings now have proper visual weight in the sidebar — readable at a glance without crowding the profile section.
Battle Cards
List-first view with filters
Battle Cards moved from a detail-first to a list-first experience. Industry and Product filters let you find the right card without scrolling through everything.
List-first view
Battle Cards now opens to a unified grid of all cards. Detail view is accessed via back arrow from within a card. "New from interview" is always visible regardless of which view is active. The list is the home base.
Industry and Product filters
Filter the Battle Cards grid by industry vertical or product line. Designed for teams with large card libraries — Colin's team won't have to hunt through irrelevant cards to find the one they need before a call.
Knowledge Base — Battle Cards section
The Knowledge Base now surfaces battle_cards table rows in a read-only section below the content category tiles. Hidden when empty. "View →" link takes the user directly to the full Battle Cards page. No separate navigation required.
Back button navigation
The Battle Cards detail view now has a proper back arrow that returns to the list. The navigation pattern is consistent with the rest of the app — no browser back button required, no context lost.
Design Partner Feedback · Sessions 10–11

Feedback that drove v0.6.1

Colin's post-session observations and the evolving product direction from the Ensemble design partner sprint. Every item here maps directly to a build decision.

Colin Schap · Ensemble
Active design partner — driving the sprint
"The role switcher is exactly what we needed. Being able to see what an SDR sees vs what a leader sees without logging out and back in — that's how you actually test this thing properly."
Colin Schap — EnsembleUsability validation→ Role switcher shipped
"Battle Cards were buried. You'd land on a detail view and have no idea what else was in the library. The list needs to be the landing experience."
Colin Schap — Ensemble→ List-first view shipped
"The Linear queue in HQ is valuable for the team but useless without filters. Status and priority at minimum — we need to see what's urgent vs what's backlog."
Colin Schap — Ensemble→ Four Linear filter controls shipped
"Having Battle Cards surface in the Knowledge Base is the right call. The SDR shouldn't have to navigate to a separate section to find competitive intel — it should be part of the same knowledge layer."
Colin Schap — EnsembleArchitecture validation→ KB battle cards section shipped
Core product feedback — ongoing
The coaching dialogue gap
This feedback thread started in Session 9 and continues to drive the Session 13+ roadmap.
"The analysis output still feels like a report card. The SDR gets a score, reads the verdict, moves on. There's no moment where the tool asks them a follow-up question or challenges them to fill a gap."
Colin Schap — Ensemble→ Post-call gap-fill dialogue (Session 13+)
"The SDR should own their next steps after the analysis. Not the manager. Not the system telling them what to do. The SDR commits to specific actions and those show up in their handoff queue."

User impact · v0.6.1

What changed for the SDR and admin

v0.6.1 was a hardening and expansion release. The features that shipped make two users' lives meaningfully better — the admin managing the team in HQ, and the SDR navigating Battle Cards and Knowledge Base.

For admins in HQ
Role management is now a UI operation
Before v0.6.1
Assigning or changing roles required direct SQL in the Supabase console. New accounts had no profile row — first-time role assignment needed a manual insert. Not something Colin or Josh could do themselves.
After v0.6.1
Admin clicks a toggle in HQ. The profile row is created automatically on first use. Four roles, four buttons, per user. Colin can manage Josh's access without involving the build team. That's the right model for a design partner sprint.
For SDRs finding resources
Battle Cards and Knowledge Base are now connected
Before v0.6.1
Battle Cards opened on a detail view — the SDR had no context for what else was in the library. Knowledge Base and Battle Cards were separate navigation destinations with no connection between them.
After v0.6.1
Battle Cards opens to a filterable list. Knowledge Base shows relevant cards inline. The SDR can find competitive intel without leaving their current context. Industry and product filters cut through noise on larger libraries.
What followed · Session 12

v0.7 shipped the day after

Session 12 immediately followed with the leaderboard gaming redesign — the anchor feature Colin validated across sessions 10 and 11. See the Session 12 readout for the full breakdown.

Five cinematic leaderboard backdrops
Holodeck SVG, Gotham noir, F1 Grand Prix, Alpine FIS ski, Olympic Championship. Each drives a reactive accent color across the full UI. The gamification engine Colin validated is now live.
v0.7 · Session 12
SDR Health ring identity colors
Purple / Amber / Blue per metric, each independently flipping to green at its threshold. The visual coaching layer the SDR can read at a glance without looking at labels.
Session 13 · Coming next
Two-row frosted rank cards
Rank panel gets bigger type, more breathing room, frosted glass overlay so the backdrop images bleed through instead of being blocked by a black panel.
Session 13 · Coming next
Post-call gap-fill dialogue
The coaching dialogue moment Colin has been asking for since Session 9. Interactive Q&A after the analysis — the system asks, the SDR fills the gap, the score updates.
